Long-life air filter with pre-filtering
This innovative system allows for a significantly longer filter lifespan. In fact, thanks to the pre-filtering, it removes coarser dirt particles, easing the workload of the actual filter. HD2 filter
The new HD2 filter with polyethylene filtering material has pores 70% finer than felt and polyamide filters, enabling it to filter even the finest dust particles. Additionally, it is oil-repellent, making it easy to clean. In an instant, the filter core coated in PET can be mounted and dismounted without the use of tools

ElastoStart

Ematic system for chain lubrication
Depending on the type of guide bar and wood, the STIHL Ematic system reduces chain oil consumption by up to 50%. It consists of an Ematic guide bar, Oilomatic chain, and an adjustable low-flow oil pump. This ensures the lubricant is delivered precisely and with minimal loss exactly where it is needed

Anti-vibration system
Special damping zones placed with precision reduce the transmission of vibrations from the engine and chain to the handle and grip

Tool-free fuel cap

Side chain tensioner
