The company Sborgia Paolo was founded in Spoltore on November 2, 1956 in the current headquarters at Via Mare Adriatico, with the initiative of Paolo Sborgia together with his wife Gilda Macera.
Its activity began as a small retail store of products for agriculture and feed, in a room of about 50 sqm.
In the following twenty years, the company began to grow and the owner, together with the two new collaborators, allowed the company to expand until becoming very well known and competitive on the regional territory.
From September 1992, Sborgia Paolo changes its corporate name to Sborgia Paolo & C. SAS with the inclusion in the company's organizational structure of the second generation: the son Alessandro Sborgia with his wife Tina Pietrangelo take over the reins of the company and, with their organizational capabilities, they carry it towards the third millennium, increasing the product range and covering many new merchandise categories.
From 1992 the company's growth is continuous and exponential and the structure is quintupled, as well as the personnel.
In 2015 he enters the organizational structure of the third generation, the nephew Paolo Sborgia, bringing again innovation and expansion and projecting the company towards new sectors such as gardening, heating and online sales, from June 2020.
Historical Expansion
Sborgia Paolo & C. SAS is always located in Via Mare Adriatico, the place of its foundation, but occupies a surface of approximately 20,000 sqm distributed between warehouse, store and a parking lot for the loading and unloading of goods of 6,000 sqm.
As previously stated, the range of products treated is vast: from tools, to hydraulics, passing through gardening and agriculture, from phyto-pharmaceuticals, fertilizers and many types of terracotta, to arrive at wood stoves and pellets.
The seriousness and availability that, for always, have been recognized by all clients, has allowed the company to become a supplier of large enterprises and many Municipalities of all Italy, such as: Strada dei Parchi S.P.A. , Parchi Global Service, Terna Rete Italia , Stadio Adriatico “Cornacchia” di Pescara , Comune di Pescara, Comune di Milano , Regione Abruzzo , Reparto Forestale dei Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza and many others.
The professionalism in work and the continuity of management, has brought the maximum recognition in the national field: in 1986, to the founder Paolo Sborgia, the title of Officer of Labor was assigned by the President of the Republic.
Currently operate in the company 18 employees who periodically take courses to keep up with all the technological innovations proposed by the various companies producing the products treated.
There is a workshop (authorized STIHL) with three specialized mechanics, which allows the repair and maintenance of any tool or agricultural machine; in addition, the company has an agronomist, expert in phyto-pharmaceuticals and fertilizers.
