- Caolino SURROUND WP Rock Powder is a mineral formulation based on high-quality kaolin, designed for crop protection. Thanks to specific treatments, including calcination, the product stands out for its purity, high brightness, and extremely fine and uniform particle size.
- Once applied, it forms a thin, white, dry film on plants that helps protect leaves and fruits by promoting the refraction of infrared and ultraviolet rays, assisting in limiting the effects of heat stress and sunburn.
MAIN FEATURES
- High-quality kaolin-based rock powder.
- Approved for organic farming.
- Very fine and uniform particle size, below 1.5 microns.
- High degree of whiteness and brightness.
- Crystalline silica content below 0.1%.
- Negligible or no heavy metal content.
- Forms a protective white mineral film on leaves and fruits.
- Helps reduce heat stress and sunburn damage.
- Suitable for crops prone to damage from high temperatures and intense radiation.
PRODUCT USE
Caolino SURROUND WP is recommended for crop protection during the hottest and sunniest periods, when fruits and vegetation are most exposed to heat stress, excessive radiation, and sunburn.
The product deposits a protective mineral film that must be kept uniform and continuous throughout the risk period.
It is suitable for numerous crops, including pome fruits, stone fruits, grapevines, and other species vulnerable to heat and sun damage.
The characteristic milky white coloration after application is normal and indicates proper coverage of the vegetation.
When this coverage begins to diminish, retreatment may be necessary.
APPLICATION METHOD
It is recommended to use Caolino SURROUND WP at a concentration between 2.5 and 5 kg per 100 liters of water.
The first two applications should preferably be carried out at the maximum concentration of 5 kg/100 L, while for subsequent treatments it is possible to reduce to 2.5 kg/100 L, depending on the residual coverage of the crop.
For proper mixture preparation, slowly add the powder to the water in a sprayer equipped with an agitator or active recirculation system, keeping the mixture constantly agitated throughout the entire application.
It is important to avoid rapid addition of the product near the pump intake to prevent clogging.
The distribution volume varies depending on the crop and leaf mass: about 1000 L/ha for trees 3-4 meters tall; about 250-500 L/ha for smaller crops, such as grapevines.
For complete coverage, at least two applications are recommended.
In case of heavy rain, new growth, or erosion caused by wind, it may be necessary to restore the protective film as soon as the foliage is dry.
Do not apply on very wet leaves.
During handling and application, the use of personal protective equipment such as dust masks, dust respirators, and protective goggles is recommended
