STIHL 2-MIX engine
The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. The separation of exhaust gases from inert gas minimizes unburned particle emissions, increasing performance and saving fuel.

Compensator
Ensures a constant fuel-air mixture even when the air filter becomes clogged.

QuickStop chain brake (Q)
Precisely positioned damping zones reduce the transmission of vibrations from the engine and chain to the handle and grip.

 
ElastoStart
Thanks to the exclusive STIHL ElastoStart starter handle, combined with the manual fuel pump and decompression valve, kickback during starting is significantly reduced.

Ematic chain lubrication system
Depending on the type of bar and wood, the STIHL Ematic system reduces chain oil consumption by up to 50%. It consists of an Ematic bar, Oilomatic chain, and an adjustable low-flow oil pump. The lubricant is delivered precisely and with minimal loss exactly where it is needed.

Anti-vibration system
Special damping zones placed with precision reduce the transmission of vibrations from the engine and chain to the handle and grip.

Tool-free tank cap
Special caps for the fuel tank and oil tank allow for easy opening and closing without difficulty.

Side chain tensioner
