CUTTING MASS
The cutting mass consists of a steel disc, made up of 2 blades and 10 movable grinding hammers.

The two 22 cm cutting blades perform an initial processing by fragmenting the first part of the material present in the hopper. They produce a "scissor" effect on the first cut of the branch fed into the hopper, providing an extremely efficient cut. The D420/120L-E HS grizzly allows obtaining chipped material of about 1 - 1.5 cm (1) which will/can need to be further refined before being fed into the pelletizer.

UNIFIED HOPPER AND EMERGENCY STOP SYSTEM
Equipped with a large steel hopper; 66 cm (L) x 65 cm (H), it is capable of receiving even bulky branches and foliage without prior processing. The automatic roller assists and compensates for the operator's push. The STOP system and the RED BAR around the funnel act in case of emergency by pressing the red alarm button located above the hopper; the motor will then be immediately stopped (approximately 1 minute is required for a complete stop), regardless of the position of the control bar;

REVERSING LEVER
The hydraulic system located under the funnel has 3 operating positions: forward - neutral - reverse, allowing the machine to reverse the rotation direction of the toothed rotor which facilitates the insertion or ejection of the inserted wood, assisting the operator in case of blockage or work suspension without having to turn off the machine.

AUTOMATIC FEED ROLLER
The professional wood chipper is equipped with a toothed roller for automatic feeding, managed by a hydraulic pump, which facilitates the insertion and ejection, if necessary or in case of blockage, of the branches, also thanks to the anti-jamming system. If during the shredding of the material the toothed rotor becomes overloaded or blocked, the lever located on the loading hopper (red round bar) must be operated. This lever acts on the hydraulic valves that control the motor and reverses the rotation direction of the rotor itself, unlocking it.

SPEED ADJUSTMENT LEVER
The hydraulic lever located on the side of the hopper regulates the rotation speed of the toothed drive roller, facilitating the machine's operation and cutting according to the diameter of the inserted wood.

DOUBLE BELT TRANSMISSION LONCIN BIO-SHREDDER
The transmission is equipped with a double belt, ensuring the machine's robustness by protecting it from shocks and various stresses. This guarantees the machine a longer lifespan compared to traditional bio-shredders on the market.

360-DEGREE ROTATING DISCHARGE CHUTE The discharge chute of the bio-shredder rotates up to 360°. Simply loosen the screws on the coupling ring and direct the chute to the desired position. Thanks to the chute's height, the WORTEX GRIZZLY D420/120L-E HS BIO-SHREDDER allows direct discharge of the wood chips into containers or hard-to-reach areas. The discharge angle is adjustable to control the distance of the shredded material ejection thanks to the dome.

POSITIONING AND TRANSPORT
The wide support foot ensures stability and balance for the machine. This allows the weight to be distributed over a larger surface, preventing the shredder from sinking into soft ground. The WORTEX GRIZZLY bio-shredder is equipped with dual handles to facilitate moving operations, as well as 2 pneumatic 16” wheels that allow easy maneuvering of the machine, a convenient and practical towing hook, and a pin for lifting and moving with agricultural machinery.
