Long-life air filter with pre-filtering

This innovative system allows for a significantly longer filter lifespan. In fact, thanks to the pre-filtering, it removes coarser dirt particles, reducing the workload of the actual filter. Quick chain tensioner (B)

The STIHL quick chain tensioner (B) allows the chain to be tensioned simply and quickly. The spool cover is loosened and, using the dedicated wheel, the chain is tensioned without the need for tools
ErgoStart (E)

Easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart halves the force required to start the machine and allows a reduction of the starting speed by two thirds. A spiral spring, located between the starter rope spool and the crankshaft, compensates for force peaks to prevent them from being transmitted to the rope
