EQUIPMENT

Combined lever with stop function

EASY TO USE. The combined lever requires only one starting position. After switching off, the control lever automatically returns to the operating position thanks to the stop function. If the engine is still warm, it can be restarted directly.

Side chain tensioning
SIMPLE AND SAFE TENSIONING. The side chain tensioner allows for easy, quick, and safe chain tensioning and replacement. The tensioning screw is operated laterally through the sprocket cover.

STIHL 2-MIX engine
PARTICULARLY ENERGY EFFICIENT. Thanks to the STIHL 2-Mix engine, it is possible to reduce not only exhaust emissions but also fuel consumption and operating costs. This 2-stroke engine requires little maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high performance. The fuel consists of a mixture of gasoline and engine oil. The STIHL 2-Mix engine complies with the strict European Stage V emissions directive.

Anti-vibration system
MORE PLEASANT WORKING ENVIRONMENT. The tool's power delivery generates vibrations that are felt primarily in the handle area. The STIHL antivibration system's dampers and compensating elements reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle and thus to the user's body. As a result, the device can be held more comfortably and allows for less tiring work.

Compensator
REDUCED MAINTENANCE. By compensating pressure, a regulation system inside the carburetor called the compensator ensures that despite increased air filter contamination, engine power, exhaust gas quality, and fuel consumption remain almost constant over a long period. Therefore, the air filter only needs to be cleaned when a noticeable decrease in performance is observed. This allows for extended operation without maintenance interruptions.

Transparent oil tank
EASE OF LEVEL CHECKING. Being transparent, the oil tank allows for a simple and quick check of the chain oil level. This ensures you always know when it is necessary to refill the chain oil to work efficiently and for a long time.
