EQUIPMENT

Stihl quick chain tensioner
CHAIN TENSIONING WITHOUT TOOLS. Thanks to the STIHL quick chain tensioner, it is possible to tension the chain quickly and without tools using the dedicated adjustment knob. Turning it to the left loosens the chain, while turning it to the right tightens the chain. Furthermore, after tightening the spool cover, the guide bar locks automatically.

STIHL ErgoStart system
EASY STARTING. Thanks to the STIHL ErgoStart system, starting motorized tools is easier. Simply pull the starter rope steadily and evenly. The pull force required on the starter rope is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even at low speeds. This is made possible by the presence of an additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter pulley.

Manual fuel pump
FEWER STARTING ATTEMPTS. The manual fuel feed pump reduces the number of starting attempts by accelerating the process. This is especially useful after long work breaks. For this purpose, it is advisable to operate the pump several times before starting. This ensures a sufficient amount of fuel reaches the carburetor during startup.

Air filter with long-life prefiltration
LONGER FILTER LIFE. The prefiltration removes coarse and larger particles from the airflow before they can reach the actual filter. The HD2 filter also keeps fine dust away from the engine, thus ensuring a long filter life, extended cleaning intervals, and easier maintenance of the chainsaw. Only when the chainsaw is equipped with prefiltration and the HD2 filter can it be considered a long-life air filtration system. This system indeed allows for a filter lifespan significantly longer than traditional air filtration systems.

Compensator
REDUCED MAINTENANCE. Through pressure compensation, a regulation system inside the carburetor called the compensator ensures that despite the increasing clogging of the air filter, engine power, exhaust gas quality, and fuel consumption remain virtually constant for a long period of time. Therefore, it will only be necessary to clean the air filter when a noticeable drop in performance is observed. This way, it is possible to work for extended periods without performing maintenance.

Oil/Fuel Tank Cap

EASE AND SPEED OF OPENING AND CLOSING. Thanks to the cap that can be opened and closed without tools, it is possible to open and close the oil and fuel tanks in just a few simple steps thanks to the bayonet closure.

Stihl Ematic System

REDUCED OIL CONSUMPTION. The STIHL Ematic system consists of the STIHL Ematic or Ematic S guide bar and the STIHL Oilomatic chain. It ensures that chain oil reaches where lubrication is needed. This way, oil consumption can be reduced by up to 50%. If you often work in dusty environments or use longer guide bars, the new oil pumping system allows you to easily and quickly increase the amount of oil at any time.

Stihl 2-Mix Engine

PARTICULARLY ENERGY EFFICIENT. Thanks to the STIHL 2-Mix engine, it is possible to reduce not only exhaust gas pollution but also fuel consumption and the resulting operating costs. This 2-stroke engine requires little maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high performance. The fuel consists of a mixture of gasoline and engine oil. The STIHL 2-Mix engine complies with the strict European Stage V emission directive.
