Side chain tensioning
SIMPLE AND SAFE TENSIONING. The side chain tensioner allows for quick, easy, and safe chain tensioning and replacement.
The tensioning screw is operated laterally through the spool cover.
Compensator
REDUCED MAINTENANCE. By compensating pressure, a regulation system inside the carburetor called the compensator ensures that despite increased clogging of the air filter, engine power, exhaust gas quality, and fuel consumption remain almost constant over a long period of time. Therefore, it will only be necessary to clean the air filter when a noticeable drop in performance is observed. This allows for extended operation without maintenance.
Oil/Fuel Tank Cap
EASE AND SPEED OF OPENING AND CLOSING. Thanks to the cap that can be opened and closed without tools, it is possible to open and close the oil and fuel tanks in a few simple steps thanks to the bayonet closure.
Stihl 2-Mix Engine
