Soil preparation

The soil should be medium-textured with good drainage; during tillage, which should be 15-20 cm deep, it may be necessary to amend it with sand, peat, etc. After removing weeds and debris, base fertilization is applied using compost or manure, ideally replaced by synthetic, organic, or mixed organic products.

Sowing

The optimal sowing periods are April-June and August-October
Break up clods and roll the soil
Distribute the seed by hand, taking care to continuously mix the product, or with a linear fertilizer spreader, which is also ideal for distributing fertilizers
Rake and cover with a thin layer of peat or sand, then roll to ensure good seed-to-soil contact
After sowing, irrigate with a fine mist to avoid displacing the seeds and keep the soil consistently moist
