Other information
- Royal Sea by Bottos (New 2020 Version) is a lawn seed mix characterized by the dual presence of micro and macrotermes, with a dark green tone and medium texture
- Suitable for coastal and seaside areas in the Mediterranean region
- Not suitable for shaded areas
- Ideal for technical turf in high-traffic areas: campsites, grassed parking lots, roundabouts, and roadside flowerbeds
- The mix features the use of the latest generation Bermuda Grass (Cynodon dactylon) cultivars, selected for the construction of high-quality lawns in warm areas with low irrigation and maximum wear resistance
- At full maturity and development, the lawn provides excellent coverage which, over time, thanks to the growth of improved couch grass, will tend to achieve a compact and dense state of great utility and low cost
- Tolerant to Summer Brown Patch and Spring Dead Spot diseases
- Introduced new American variety REBOUNDER with very high wear resistance and rhizomatous ability to occupy lateral spaces
- Performs well in all light conditions: from full sun to heavily shaded areas
- Even faster germination and establishment

USAGE TIPS
Seeding and Dosage: Germination can take from 7 to 15 days directly related to soil temperatures. Note that the required soil temperature is above 20°C. The dosage is 40-50 gr/sqm; maximum doses are recommended in case of high temperatures or imperfect seedbed preparation.
It is always recommended to use lawn soil
Mowing: Perform the first cut when the grass reaches 6 cm, immediately reducing it to 4 cm so as not to compromise the germination of Bermuda Grass (Cynodon dactylon). Never remove more than 30% of the existing vegetation. Do not cut below 40 mm. Managing clippings above 60 mm results in a coarser turf texture. To further stimulate the development of Bermuda Grass (Cynodon dactylon) at the expense of Tall Fescue (Festuca arundinacea), keep the cut below 25 mm using reel mowers.
Irrigation: During sowing and overseeding, keep the soil constantly moist until full germination. In the summer period, irrigate with 10 mm of water every 3 days. Be careful not to overwater to avoid promoting seasonal diseases.
Nutrition: Apply phosphate fertilization at sowing, then manage the turf with 25-35 units of Nitrogen per square meter annually, choosing specific controlled-release fertilizers. Schedule at least 4 fertilizations per year to achieve a high-quality turf. In addition, it is good practice to perform summer fertilizations to stimulate Cynodon development with one or two applications of nitrogen-rich materials. For premium lawns, also plan 2 biostimulant treatments to increase tolerance to foot traffic and heat.
