Ergonomic harness
The ergonomic harness reduces physical strain, especially during long working periods, and ensures freedom of movement.
ElastoStart
Easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart halves the force needed to start the machine and reduces the starting speed by two thirds. A damping element in the starter rope compensates for force peaks to prevent them from being transmitted to the rope.
Anti-vibration system
Strong vibrations on the handle can cause circulation problems in the arms and hands over time. For this reason, STIHL has developed a special anti-vibration system that reduces the transmission of vibrations from the engine to the handle.
Multifunction control knob
This houses all engine controls. The easy and comfortable thumb control ensures the operator’s hand never leaves the handle.
