• Stihl connected is based on a cloud system, which includes both hardware and software:
• Stihl Smart Connector (hardware)
• Stihl app (software)
• Stihl cloud
• Stihl connect pro portal (software) Properly attached to the equipment, the STIHL Smart Connector records operating hours, saves them, and transfers them via Bluetooth to your smartphone or tablet, remaining within the transmitter's range (approx. 10m).
• The equipment data that goes into the STIHL app is then transferred to the STIHL cloud via WiFi or another data connection
• Among other benefits, the new STIHL app features make gardening work easier for the customer
• The STIHL cloud is the data hub of STIHL connected
• Of course, all received equipment data is subject to data protection regulations and handled securely and reliably
• Ultimately, the equipment data saved in the STIHL cloud is available to the user, used and analyzed in the STIHL connect pro portal
