Other information
- SAFE, an EDTA-chelated Manganese and Zinc-based fertilizer solution, is a fertilizer designed for the technical nutrition of turfgrass; it is the universally used fertilizer to control Manganese and Zinc deficiencies via foliar application and fertigation
- Effectively controls nutritional physiological disorders
- The components used to formulate the fertilizer are recognized and authorized in organic farming
- Manganese and Zinc are antagonistic to each other and therefore difficult to coexist in plant absorption; for this reason, it is advisable to apply a product containing both elements to provide proper nutritional support
- Both elements participate in the important phenomenon of resistance induction (plants learn to defend themselves against possible physiological disorders and environmental stresses)
- The slightly acidic reaction perfectly matches the needs of turfgrass (pH 6.5)
- Penetrates inside the leaf through a translaminar process and is not washed away, exhibiting a healing action on breakage wounds
- Enhances photosynthetic activity
- SAFE activates the processes of thickening and elasticity of leaf walls, resulting in resistance to pathogen attacks
- Does not cause encrustations
- Compatible with most authorized plant protection products, except those with strongly alkaline reactions
- Has a very low salinity level
- Its duration (variable depending on doses and type of application) is generally from 2 to 3 weeks
Practical usage advice
Apply SAFE in case of evident deficiencies and before and/or during biotic and abiotic stresses. It is advisable
to apply the product on dry leaves.
Doses
0.5-1 Kg/1,000 m2 diluted in 100-200 liters of water for root absorption, that is
1 bottle/1,000-2,000 m2
0.15-0.3 Kg/1,000 m2 diluted in 50-100 liters of water for aerial treatments (foliar absorption), that is
1 bottle/3,300-6,500 m2
