EQUIPMENT

QuickStop disc brake
Designed to reduce the risk of kickback injuries when the guard is fully open, exposing the top of the disc. The disc rotation is stopped within fractions of a second, i.e., when the kickback energy is sufficiently high.

Electronic water supply control
The water flow is activated and deactivated automatically. The use and dosing of water quantities are conveniently controlled with a series of buttons.

Long-lasting air filter
The long-lasting air filter with cyclone pre-filtration lasts up to one year (depending on usage conditions) and does not require periodic cleaning

Ergonomic handle
The ergonomic handle provides exceptional cutting comfort in all working positions

2-MIX engine
Impressive thanks to reduced harmful exhaust emissions and outstanding performance

Anti-vibration system
Special spring-mounted damping elements reduce the transmission of vibrations from the engine to the operator’s hands and arms. This makes hand-guided cutting less tiring

STIHL ElastoStart
Thanks to the exclusive STIHL ElastoStart starting handle, combined with the manual fuel pump and decompression valve, kickback during ignition is significantly reduced

Manual fuel pump (Purger)
By pressing the manual fuel pump several times before starting, the number of pull attempts can be reduced by approximately 40%. This ensures fuel is available more quickly at startup

Water connection
With a standard water connection featuring a drip system, water reaches the cutting disc, thereby suppressing the dust generated by cutting. It is mounted on the equipment so as not to interfere during work

Magnesium guard
Magnesium die-cast cutting disc guard. This results in a significant weight reduction.
