Dosage and Instructions for Use
Sowing rate: 3 Kg per 100 sqm
Sowing is carried out after careful preparation of the seedbed, which includes:
- Light digging, soil crumbling, removal of stones, weeds and other coarse material, leveling and slight slope or drainage of the soil to avoid water stagnation, light rolling
- Fertilize with organic fertilizers (composted or chemical) during soil preparation. Before winter and at the start of the growing season, fertilization with complex organic fertilizers can be applied
- It is recommended to sow from March to November depending on the climate; sowing is done by broadcasting first in one direction and then in the opposite to ensure even seed distribution
- Irrigation, which should not be done during the hottest hours of the day, must be done by sprinkling with fine jets and dosed in the post-sowing period to ensure seed germination. Subsequently, irrigate to support the natural development of the lawn
- Maintenance: the first mowing is done when the lawn reaches a height of 6/7 cm, cutting to about 3 cm; subsequent mowings are carried out every 7-10 days, always at about 3 cm height in spring and summer, and about 5 cm in autumn; any weeds must be removed by hand as soon as they appear
Renovation of old lawn
This can be done with simple techniques: cut the grass as low as possible, remove the cut grass, rake the soil vigorously in both directions and spread the seeds evenly (walking across the lawn in both directions) as if it were a new lawn. Fertilize with complex fertilizers and cover everything with a light layer of soil, water frequently for about two weeks and proceed with additional fertilization; avoid the formation of depressions with water stagnation to prevent rot, mold, and yellowing of the lawn
