- Neem Oil + Karanja is a natural phytocomplex for treatments on vegetables, fruit trees, and ornamental plants. The combination of these natural oils has distinct and varied beneficial effects on the plant: their phytocomplexes have been used since ancient times as natural remedies for the long-term maintenance of plant health
- The characteristic film that forms after foliar application makes the plant an inhospitable environment for unwanted insects, while simultaneously invigorating its metabolic processes
- Karanja oil acts through several mechanisms of action:
- DIGESTIVE INTERFERENCE: causes rejection and feeding blockage in insects that feed on treated leaves
- OVIPOSITION INHIBITION: prevents females from laying eggs on treated surfaces
- SUFFOCATING ACTION: forms a film that blocks respiration of soft-bodied pests
- This combination of effects strongly limits the risk of resistance development by harmful organisms, making Karanja oil a valuable ally in integrated pest management strategies
- In the field of integrated plant protection, Karanja oil (Pongamia pinnata) stands out as an innovative and sustainable solution. Versatile, natural, and highly effective, Karanja oil combines efficacy with environmental respect. When used correctly, it is neither phytotoxic nor harmful to pollinating insects or beneficial organisms, promoting a natural balance within the agricultural ecosystem. Rich in flavonoids and karanjin, a molecule with documented activity in controlling insects and mites. It also contains unsaturated fatty acids (oleic, linoleic acid) that enhance its adhesion to plant surfaces, forming a thin protective film.
- Extracted from the seeds of the tropical tree Pongamia pinnata, Karanja oil is characterized by a high concentration of flavonoids and, in particular, karanjin, a natural molecule with documented insecticidal and acaricidal properties
- Combined in formulation with Neem Oil, it creates a powerful synergy against harmful insects through complementary mechanisms of action
