• VerdeVivo concentrated Propolis is a Propolis extract obtained through hydroalcoholic extraction. It acts quickly on plant tissue and is fully consistent with organic farming principles; it is also successfully used in integrated pest management
• Propolis is a resinous substance produced by the work of bees. Its importance in protecting the hive was already known in Greek and Roman times, thanks to its powerful antibacterial and anti-infective properties. The incredible effectiveness of propolis is now being rediscovered both for human health (it is used in suitable preparations against numerous health disorders) and for plant care: VerdeVivo Propolis is an effective strengthening product, useful for enhancing the natural defenses of plants thanks to its content of resins, natural wax, flavonoids, essential oils, vitamins, and minerals. Propolis naturally improves plants’ ability to respond to biotic stresses (caused by living organisms, e.g., parasites) and abiotic stresses (caused by external factors such as vegetation damage, climatic factors, etc.)
• It is used for foliar spraying, also in combination or alternation with other substances such as copper- and sulfur-based products and soft soap. Its biostimulant action is synergistic with that of regular fertilizers: it increases plants’ ability to better absorb nutrients.
