- It acidifies the water used to prepare mixtures for foliar application and improves the solubilization and homogenization of the formulations to be used, increasing their adhesion and penetration inside the leaves, combined with a fertilizing action
- Acidifying the water to optimal pH values prevents alkaline hydrolysis and the reduction of effectiveness of the formulations used in the mixture
HOW TO USE:
Dosages vary depending on the pH and bicarbonate content of the starting water; for this reason, CIFOVIR 1 is easy to use because the optimal dosage is indicated by the WATER TURNING RED. To lower the water pH from 8.0 to 6.5, use 90-120 g of CIFOVIR 1 per 100 liters of water.
Fill the sprayer with water up to 2/3, initially add 60 g/hl of CIFOVIR 1, check the color reached by the water (note: yellow (pH ≥ 6.0), orange (sub-acid pH 6.0-5.5), red (acid pH ≤ 5.5)), continue adding CIFOVIR 1 until the solution shows the first shades of red.
At this point, add the formulations to be used in the mixture with the remaining water.
Note: color intensity may vary depending on the different types of water.
