- YaraLiva NITRABOR (15.4% N + 25.9% CaO + 0.3% B) is a field calcium nitrate fertilizer with added boron suitable for field application on all crops, particularly brassicas more prone to calcium and boron deficiency
- It is a free-flowing material with a unique coating for dry application. Its hygroscopic nature allows it to dissolve easily upon contact with the soil under moisture or night dew conditions
- This formulation offers a low risk of burning and is often used as a final top dressing for a wide range of high-value crops requiring extra boron and where soils are low in boron
Product application recommendations
Apple: 250 kg/ha applied early spring before bud break, followed by 100-150 kg/ha as a top-up during the early fruit set stage. 100-350 kg/ha autumn application after harvest, depending on the variety.
Asparagus: Recently planted 150 kg/ha as a base dressing at planting, Stabilized Beds 480 kg/ha as a peak dressing in spring
Brassica: Apply 400 to 600 kg/ha as a base dressing (clubroot) or in transmission
Broccoli: Apply 400 to 600 kg/ha as a base dressing (clubroot) or in transmission
Olive: 200 – 400 kg/ha split into multiple applications, at vegetative restart, at walnut fruit stage, and post-harvest
Pear: 200 – 300 kg/ha split into multiple applications, at vegetative restart, at walnut fruit stage, and post-harvest
