• Contains a high amount of iron in a form easily assimilable by crops (Fe2+)
• Thanks to its composition, it is particularly suitable for the prevention and treatment of iron chlorosis, a typical symptom of iron deficiency or its immobilization
• Produces a much more continuous and uniform “greening effect” compared to an iron-chelate product
• The high sulfur content (SO3) also provides an acidic reaction (pH= 2.5-3.5)
• This characteristic helps reduce iron insolubilization reactions typical of calcareous or alkaline soils
• The granular physical form slows the release of iron compared to crystalline ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, ensuring a longer-lasting and more consistent action over time; it is therefore suitable for use in late winter and early spring interventions
• Contains water-soluble magnesium, making it readily available to the plant
• This makes it a fertilizer suitable for preventing chlorosis caused by magnesium deficiency, typical in potassium-rich soils
• Magnesium, together with iron, is indeed one of the fundamental components of the chlorophyll molecule, essential for the metabolism of plant organisms and their growth
