- SLOW K from the Zollaverde line by Bottos is a mineral compound NPK fertilizer with a 13-5-20 + 2 MgO composition and is a stress-relief fertilizer designed to overcome critical periods such as summer and winter, providing growth and root strengthening while maintaining a controlled release phase for the vegetative part
- It contains nitrogen forms both with slow release and programmed release, allowing it to act on any type of substrate, from loose and sandy soils to tough, heavy, and clayey ones
- The release of the protected nitrogen fraction is therefore partly controlled by microbial activity and temperature and partly by water
- The readily available fraction is in ammoniacal and urea form
- Potassium is entirely derived from sulfate with an acidifying effect
- The ratio between the elements (N:P:K 2.5:1:4) is designed to overcome heat/drought and cold/frost conditions. It provides turgor and strength to the grass cell walls
- It shows an immediate color effect due to the presence of fully water-soluble Magnesium
- The use of SLOW K therefore promotes excellent turf coloration, great stem density, and significant root system development

- When used during summer (July/August), quantities can be reduced to 20-25 g/m2
- It is always recommended to apply SLOW K on dry, mowed turf followed immediately by light irrigation
