Stihl ErgoStart system
EASY STARTING. Thanks to the STIHL ErgoStart system, starting engine-powered tools is easier. Simply pull the starter rope steadily and evenly. The pull speed of the starter rope is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even at low speeds.
This is made possible by the presence of an additional spring between the crankshaft and the starting pulley.
